MASTER CLASSES   (For those who've completed Introduction to Improv Comedy)

Choose one or more classes:

1) Developing improv comedy characters  This workshop focuses on the development of characters through environment work, body work, emotion, and observation. We will work as a class to help you create one (or two) solid characters to gain more Improv confidence - focusing on emotional impact, raising the stakes and acting truthfully, all while heightening your sense of play and comedic timing.  March 7th, 2020

2) Developing improv comedy scene work Improv is nothing without solid scene work. Learn to boldly initiate scenes, stick with character choices and heighten moments organically to build funny and poignant scenes.  Details, specifics and information are always needed for a good improv scene. This workshop teaches you HOW to create those scenic needs to open up your scenes so that they inspire your form and fellow players while doing more with less. April 4th,2020

3) Improv Jam!  This workshop will allow you to utilize the skills you learned in the previous workshops and classes (fundamentals of Improv, characters and scene work) in a fun, relaxed, environment. We will go more in-depth on how to start and end a scene strong, utilizing characters and scene work to drive through a scene and make any Improv scene more interesting and fun! This is your chance to let it all out! May 2nd, 2020
